In May 2004, the Gunners made history in their Premier League victory, but the world has changed hugely since then
It was May 2004 when Arsenal made history.
The Gunners rounded off their campaign in style to become the first side to go through an entire league season unbeaten since Preston achieved the feat in 1888/89.
It was the last time they won the Premier League and they have rarely threatened to do so since, focusing instead on just finishing in the top four.
Some weird and wonderful stuff has happened since Arsenal’s last title win…
1. Katie Price has become a thing
That’s Katie Price. She’s famous. And she’s actually had more success in her life recently than Arsenal have on the pitch. 2. Pep Guardiola retired from playing football (2006), then became a manager who has won 14 major trophies and counting

Premier League titles x1
Champions Leagues x2
Spanish Cups x2
German Cups x2
League Cups x1
3. Juventus were relegated from Serie A, earned promotion back to the top and have now won seven consecutive titles and reached TWO Champions League finals
They’ve come a long way in a short space of time and appear destined to finally win the Champions League trophy that has eluded them for so long 4. Arjen Robben had hair in 2004
Look at that hair. Chelsea signed Robben in 2004 when he was just 20, but he left in 2004 and went on to play for Real Madrid and now Bayern Munich. 5. The iPhone has been invented since Arsenal’s last title triumph
Unveiled in January 2007 and on sale from June, the iPhone was revolutionary (just like Arsenal were at one stage) 6. Tottenham have even won a trophy!
